The Coleman Mach Air-Vantage (9330A5221) is a conversion kit that bridges the gap between a Dometic ducted ceiling assembly and a Coleman Mach rooftop unit. When a Dometic rooftop AC or heat pump fails, the Air-Vantage kit allows the replacement of just the rooftop unit with a Coleman Mach AC or heat pump — while keeping the existing Dometic CT wall thermostat, control box, interior ceiling shroud, grille, and filter in place. The result is a significantly less invasive and less costly replacement than tearing out the entire ducted system.
The kit provides both the electrical and mechanical interface components needed to make the connection work. On the electrical side, the included wire harness adapter and resistor plug adapter translate between the Dometic CT thermostat's wiring protocol and the Coleman Mach rooftop unit's control inputs — allowing the existing wall thermostat to operate the new Coleman Mach unit without rewiring. On the mechanical side, the plenum plate, mount frame, and divider flange adapt the Coleman Mach unit's footprint and airflow geometry to the existing Dometic ceiling plenum opening. New mounting hardware (6 screws, 4 bolts) is included for the rooftop unit installation; the original Dometic mounting plate and 4 rooftop bolts are not reused.
The Air-Vantage kit is compatible with both Dometic AC-only and Dometic heat pump rooftop units as the unit being replaced, and supports installation of a Coleman Mach air conditioner or heat pump as the replacement. The critical compatibility requirement is the Dometic "CT" wall thermostat — this specific thermostat type is required for the resistor plug adapter to function correctly. Systems controlled by a non-CT thermostat or a 3-speed blower control box are not supported by this kit.

The Air-Vantage kit will not work in every Dometic ducted installation. Verify all three conditions before purchasing: 1. CT wall thermostat: Your current Dometic system must be controlled by a Dometic "CT" wall thermostat. The resistor plug adapter in this kit is designed specifically for CT thermostat wiring. Non-CT thermostat systems are not supported. 2. Single-zone control box: The existing Dometic control box must be a single-zone type. Multi-zone control boxes are not supported. 3. 2-speed blower: The existing Dometic rooftop unit must be a 2-speed blower model. 3-speed blower units are not compatible — the kit's control interface does not support a 3-speed fan.

If any of the required conditions are not met — CT thermostat, 2-speed blower, single-zone control box — the Air-Vantage kit alone will not provide a complete conversion. A full ceiling assembly replacement with a Coleman Mach plenum kit would be required instead.
