Dinghy towing electrical adapter that converts a CURT towed-vehicle RV harness 4-way flat connection to a front-mounted 7-way RV blade socket. Includes mounting hardware and additional wiring for brake and 12V power functions.
The Curt 58980 is designed for flat-towing applications where a CURT towed-vehicle RV harness terminates in a 4-way flat connector but a 7-way RV blade connection is preferred at the front of the dinghy vehicle. The adapter plugs into the RV harness under the hood and provides a standard 7-way RV blade socket for a clean, permanent connection point.
The included mounting bracket allows flexible installation in the grille, bumper cover, or another suitable location instead of requiring a welded connector bracket. In addition to the 4-way lighting connection, separate wires are provided for an active braking system and 12-volt power for applications such as a battery maintainer.
