The Manchester G12845 is a remote sending unit that threads onto compatible Manchester mechanical dial gauges to transmit propane level to a remote dash/coach indicator. It’s a screw-on style sender designed for RVs, motorhomes, food trucks, and other ASME tank installations that need a reliable remote readout of LP level from inside the vehicle.
What ohm range is the G12845? Manchester sells sender heads in different resistance curves depending on the gauge system used in the coach. Many RV panels use 240–33 Ω (marine/automotive “American” standard) while some OEM panels use 0–90 Ω. Check your indicator’s spec and the gauge head marking before ordering.
Will this fit my tank? If your Manchester gauge head is labeled for a screw-on remote sender, yes. If your gauge is a snap-in/clip-on style, you need that style sender instead.
Can I reuse my existing indicator? Yes, if its ohm range matches the sender. Otherwise, replace the indicator or sender so the ranges match.
