The Clear2O CRV1005 is a full-length solid carbon block inline water filter built for RV and marine use. Unlike granular filters, its solid carbon block uses the entire length of the filter to maximize water contact time, filtering down to the 5 micron level to reduce sediment, chlorine, and the sulfur taste and odor common in campground or marina water supplies. The 5 micron design is Clear2O's higher-flow option, delivering a meaningful flow rate improvement over their 1 micron inline filter, making it a good fit for sites with higher sediment where flow rate is a priority.
Always connect to a known water source and use a water pressure regulator. Flush the spigot before installing to avoid clogging the filter. Outdoor use only, not recommended for installation underneath a faucet cabinet, and don't allow the filter to freeze — shake out residual water before freezing temperatures set in. Sites with high sediment may benefit from adding Clear2O's DirtGUARD Sediment Pre-Filter (sold separately) ahead of this filter.
