Arvika engineered the 7002SAF specifically for this tongue style, using a steel trailer mounting bracket sized and shaped to bolt cleanly onto the short A-frame without improvised spacers or modifications.

The standard gutters included in this kit are sized for bike tires under 2 inches wide -- the most common size for road, hybrid, and standard mountain bikes. If you ride larger-volume tires, Arvika offers wider gutters sold separately:
Selecting the correct gutter width keeps the wheel seated properly and prevents side-to-side wobble during transport.
With the included reinforcement arms installed, the rack is rated for up to 200 lbs total. Without the reinforcement arms, the rated capacity drops to 150 lbs. For carrying two fully loaded bikes, always install the reinforcement arms.
