The Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution w/Sway Control Kit - 1,000 lbs Tongue Weight is a great way to reduce sway and distribute weight, giving you a smoother ride when towing a trailer. It is made to distribute a portion of the trailers tongue weight onto the front axle of the tow
vehicle and the trailer axles as well as provide superior resistance to sway. Without a system to distribute
this weight, the tow vehicle/trailer set up may be unsafe as the rear axles of the tow vehicle can become
overloaded, which makes a sway event more likely.
- Black powder coat finish gets rid of the need to add retention clips to the trunnion bars. This tough finish also helps to prevent corrosion while promoting longevity.
- Integrated sway control friction brackets increase frame clearance, and can be mounted between 27" and 32" back from the coupler.
- Will fit 6" frames w/bottom mount couplers.
- Hitch bar included.

- Fits 2" x 2" trailer hitch receivers designed to be used with weight distribution systems.
- 13" shank length with 8" length from back of shank to center hitch pin and 9.75" from front to center of hitch pin.

Important Notes: First, remember that some trailer brake surge couplers aren't meant to work with hitches featuring add-on, bar style, friction sway control. If you do have surge brake couplers on your trailer, check with the manufacturer before installing the Steadi-Flex Weight Distributing Hitch or other hitches that feature sway control. If your towing vehicle is equipped with air shocks, springs, or an automatic load leveling system, remember to first check your vehicles' owner manual for instructions on installing a weight distribution kit. Finally, for the safest and best results possible, remember to have your trailer and vehicle fully, properly, and evenly loaded like you would as if you were heading out on the annual family camping trip. Tongue weight should always be between 10-15% gross trailer weight.
