The Valterra 020106 is a stabilizer, not a leveling jack. It is designed to reduce movement once your RV is already level — it should not be used to lift or level your trailer from the ground up. No rated weight capacity. Unlike leveling jacks, this unit does not lift the trailer — it simply braces against the frame to provide support, so no weight rating applies. For maximum effectiveness and to reduce both front-to-back and side-to-side movement, use two units — one at the front and one at the rear of the RV. Frame clearance check required: Measure the distance from your RV frame to the ground before ordering. This unit fits 14" to 28" clearance only.
Getting Your Stabilizer in Place: 1. Level Your RV First: Use your existing leveling jacks or blocks to get your rig level before deploying the stabilizer 2. Unfold the Unit: Open the cross-frame from its folded position — no tools required 3. Position Under Frame: Place the stabilizer under your RV frame at the desired location (front, rear, or both) 4. Adjust Height: Extend the legs until they contact the ground within the 14"–28" clearance range 5.
