Industry-first patented bolt-on automatic leveling for 2008+ Ford E-450 chassis. No welding required for front cylinders. 8,000 lb per jack, 13" stroke, 90–120 second auto-leveling, lifetime cylinder warranty.
The Bigfoot AKC-E4502 is the industry's first bolt-on hydraulic automatic leveling system for Ford E-450 chassis Class C motorhomes—a patented design that removes the biggest barrier to hydraulic leveling on the E-Series platform: welding. The front cylinders mount completely bolt-on with zero drilling or welding to the front frame, while the rear cylinders offer drilling or welding to suit your chassis and installation preference. It's the cleanest, fastest way to add professional-grade hydraulic leveling to a Ford E-450 Class C motorhome without any permanent front frame modification.
Designed specifically for 2008 and newer Ford E-450 chassis, the AKC-E4502 delivers one-touch fully automatic leveling in just 90 to 120 seconds through a single central marine-grade hydraulic power unit mountable outside the coach. Four powder-coated cylinders machined at Quadra's Michigan facility deliver 8,000 lbs of capacity each with a 13" stroke, all backed by a lifetime cylinder warranty. The complete system weighs just 150 lbs and ships with everything needed for installation. One important note specific to the E-450: because this chassis typically rides higher than the E-350, owners of vehicles 5 or more years old should verify their front frame-to-ground measurement before ordering — if that measurement falls below 15", the E-350 part numbers with shorter front cylinders provide better ground clearance. Skipping this step can result in a cylinder swap during installation.
Industry's first patented bolt-on front bracket design — zero welding or drilling at the front frame
One-touch automatic leveling completes in under two minutes at any campsite
Single marine-grade power unit mounts outside — zero interior storage space consumed
8,000 lb cylinders machined in-house at Quadra's Michigan facility with lifetime warranty
This measurement is required before ordering on vehicles 5 years old or older: Underneath the cab on the driver's side, locate the control arm mounting bracket for the front axle. Just rearward of this bracket, measure from the bottom of the vehicle frame to the ground while parked on a level surface. If this measurement is BELOW 15": Order the Ford E-350 part numbers (AKC-E3502) instead — they have shorter front cylinders designed for better ground clearance on lower-riding chassis. The E-350 system is fully compatible with lower or older E-450 frames. If this measurement is 15" or ABOVE: This AKC-E4502 with standard E-450 front cylinders is correct for your vehicle. Why this matters: If the wrong cylinders are installed, they will need to be swapped out during the installation process and an additional fee will apply. Take this measurement before ordering to avoid this situation. Not sure? Call us at 1-866-332-7881 before placing your order.
Primary Application: • 2008 and Newer Ford E-450 Chassis (Full Bolt-On Front, Drill/Weld Rear) • Class C Motorhomes Built on Ford E-450 Chassis Older E-450 Models (Pre-2008): Additional drilling or modifications may be required. For pre-2008 E-450 chassis, contact us at 1-866-332-7881 to confirm fitment before ordering. Two-Stage Air Suspension Note: Check the rear frame for two-stage air suspension. These chassis may require additional drilling or different rear brackets for proper cylinder mounting. If you have two-stage air suspension, contact Quadra at 1-800-752-9815 to verify bracket requirements before installation. Existing Brackets: Any existing leveling system frame brackets must be fully removed prior to installation of the AKC-E4502 system.
The AKC-E4502 uses Bigfoot's patented split-method bracket system: Front Cylinders — Zero Welding or Drilling: • Patented bolt-on brackets mount completely without frame modification • No drilling, no welding, no permanent change to the front frame Rear Cylinders — Drilling or Welding: • Rear cylinder and pump mounting requires either drilling or welding to the frame • Installer may choose either method based on preference and chassis condition Before Installation: • Perform front frame height measurement on vehicles 5+ years old (see above) • Check rear frame for two-stage air suspension • Remove all existing leveling system brackets from the frame • 2 quarts of Dexron III hydraulic fluid required (not included) Possible Vehicle-Specific Modifications: Some RV models may require adjustments to: limit switch wires, battery cables, vehicle exhaust, RV plumbing or wiring, sub-floor brackets or joists, storage boxes, or floors. Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Both systems are functionally identical — same patented bolt-on bracket design, same central pump, same cylinder capacity. The difference is front cylinder length to accommodate each chassis's ride height:
⚠️ Important: If you have an older or lower-riding E-450 with a front frame-to-ground measurement below 15", order the AKC-E3502 (E-350 system) for correct front cylinder ground clearance. Installing the wrong cylinders will require a swap during installation and an additional fee will apply.
Both systems deliver identical automatic leveling performance on the Ford E-450 chassis. The only difference is front bracket attachment method:
For most Ford E-450 Class C owners, the AKC-E4502 bolt-on system is the clear choice — identical performance with a far simpler front-end installation process and no frame welding required up front.
RV SnapPad BF-7 pads snap permanently onto your Bigfoot landing pads and stay attached during travel — no more placing and retrieving pads at every campsite. They protect hard surfaces, prevent sinking on soft ground, and cut setup time to seconds.
