The PC-E3501 Platinum operates differently from a fully automatic leveling system. Understanding this two-step process is important before purchasing: Step 1 — Automatic Stabilization (Press a Button): Press the deploy button and all four cylinders automatically extend, make ground contact, bring the front level with the rear, and stabilize the vehicle. This takes approximately 30 seconds and requires no user involvement. Step 2 — Manual Fine-Leveling (User Controlled): Using a bubble level or leveling device, check the coach's level plane. Then use the control panel to operate cylinders individually or in pairs (on-the-fly adjustment) to raise or lower each corner until perfectly level. The system responds quickly for precise adjustment. Important — No Inclinometer: This system does NOT have an inclinometer and does NOT automatically read or level to a true level plane. It will not self-level like the AKC-E3501 fully automatic system. A bubble level or other leveling aid is required for precise final leveling. Best For: Owners who want automation for stabilization but prefer hands-on control for final leveling.
