Inserts into any 1-5/8" I.D. flush-mount rod holder and converts it to a fully adjustable marine grill mount. Telescoping stainless/aluminum tube adjusts 14.8"–18.8". Ball-joint swivel plate pivots freely. Tension clamps lock both adjustments. Compatible with Kuuma, Olympian, and most Magma rectangle-style grills. Hardware for both brands included.
The Camco Kuuma 58196 is a pivoting grill mount that drops into any standard 1-5/8" I.D. flush-mount fishing rod holder on a boat and instantly converts it into a stable, adjustable mounting point for a portable marine grill. Instead of purchasing a dedicated rail mount and clamping it to the boat's railing — which requires a compatible rail diameter and permanent clamp installation — the 58196 simply uses the flush-mount rod holders already installed on most boats.
The mount has two independent adjustments, each locked by a tension clamp. The telescoping tube extends from 14.8" to 18.8" to set the grill height. The mounting plate swivels around a full ball joint so it can be angled in any direction to keep the grill level regardless of the boat's trim or the rod holder's angle. Stainless steel inner tube and anodized aluminum outer tube construction handles the marine environment. Mounting hardware for both Kuuma/Olympian and Magma rectangle-style grills is included in the box.
• 1x Camco Kuuma 58196 Pivoting Grill Mount • Kuuma/Olympian grill mounting hardware • Magma grill mounting hardware Other Kuuma grill mounting options: • 58180 — 60° rod holder grill mount (fixed angle, no swivel) • 58182 — Rail mount for 7/8"–1-1/4" O.D. round or square railings • 58183 — Universal single-axis adjustable rail mount • 58184 — Pedestal grill mount with quick-release base
Quick setup — no tools needed for mounting: 1. Insert the 58196 tube into any 1-5/8" I.D. flush-mount rod holder on the boat 2. Adjust the telescoping height to the desired level and tighten the height tension clamp 3. Attach the grill to the swivel mounting plate using the appropriate included hardware (Kuuma or Magma) 4. Pivot the plate to level the grill and tighten the swivel tension clamp Tip: Set height and angle adjustments before lighting the grill. Both clamps hold firmly once tightened — no readjustment needed during cooking.
The 58196 is designed to insert into an existing 1-5/8" I.D. flush-mount fishing rod holder. It is not a rail clamp and cannot be clamped directly to a boat railing without a flush-mount rod holder already present. If your boat has a railing but no flush-mount rod holders, see the 58182 (rail mount) or 58183 (universal rail mount) instead.
