Specialty high-drop/high-rise shank for Fastway e2 "no-shank" weight distribution systems when the standard shank isn't enough. Maximum drop and rise vary by spring bar type β confirm your e2 style (round bar or trunnion) before ordering. Fits 6K, 8K, 10K, and 12K e2 models. 2" receiver, 5/8" pin hole.
The standard Fastway e2 shank (92-02-4100) handles the majority of tow vehicle and trailer height combinations. But when you upgrade to a lifted truck, change tow vehicles, or are towing a trailer with an unusually high or low coupler, the standard shank's range sometimes isn't enough β and that's exactly what the 92-02-4315 specialty shank is designed for. It's the high-drop, high-rise option in the Fastway e2 shank lineup, providing significantly greater adjustment range than the standard shank for setups that need maximum correction.
An important nuance: the maximum drop and rise of the 92-02-4315 differ depending on whether your e2 system uses round bars or trunnion bars. With round bars, the shank provides up to 8.5" of drop and 12" of rise. With trunnion bars, the geometry shifts slightly, giving up to 6-1/2" of drop and 12-1/2" of rise. This is a known characteristic of the e2 design and makes confirming your spring bar type essential before ordering. The shank fits all e2 models from 6,000 to 12,000 lb GTW, but does not fit the light-duty 4.5K trunnion model.
The highest-drop, highest-rise shank in the Fastway e2 lineup β for lifted trucks or setups where the standard shank doesn't provide enough correction
Adjustable shank design allows setting ball height within the available range β not locked to a single fixed drop position
Compatible with all Fastway e2 weight distribution systems rated 6,000β12,000 lb GTW, both round bar and trunnion styles
Built by Progress Mfg. in the USA β the same company and manufacturing standards as the e2 hitch system itself
The 92-02-4315 provides different maximum drop and rise depending on which type of Fastway e2 spring bars your system uses. This is a critical distinction: With e2 Round Bar Spring Bars: Maximum Drop: 8.5" | Maximum Rise: 12" With e2 Trunnion Bar Spring Bars: Maximum Drop: 6-1/2" | Maximum Rise: 12-1/2" If you need more than 6-1/2" of drop on a trunnion system, the 92-02-4315 cannot provide it β no Fastway e2 shank can. In that case, consider whether an Equal-i-zer system with its wider shank range is a better fit for your setup. NOT compatible with: The light-duty Fastway e2 trunnion 4.5K hitch (92-00-0450). This shank will not fit that model. If you need less drop: See the Fastway e2 Specialty Shank 92-02-4214, which provides up to 7-1/4" drop / 10" rise (round bar) or up to 5-1/2" drop / 10-1/4" rise (trunnion) β a closer fit for moderate-lift setups.
Step 1: On level ground with the tow vehicle loaded as it will be while towing, measure from the ground to the inside top of the receiver opening Step 2: With the trailer loaded, measure from the ground to the trailer coupler Step 3: Subtract the coupler height from the receiver height β the result is your required drop Step 4: Confirm your e2 spring bar type (round bar or trunnion) and verify that the 92-02-4315's maximum drop for your bar type meets your required drop Example (round bar): Receiver at 24" β Coupler at 15.5" = 8.5" drop β 92-02-4315 just reaches the maximum for round bar Example (trunnion): Receiver at 22" β Coupler at 15.5" = 6.5" drop β 92-02-4315 at maximum for trunnion Contact Fastway at fastwaytrailer.com/contact-us for shank selection assistance if you are unsure which shank is correct for your specific setup.

All e2 shanks fit 2" receivers with 5/8" pin holes. Maximum drop and rise shown are for round bar systems β trunnion bar systems will have slightly different maximums. Select based on your required drop.
If your required drop exceeds what the 92-02-4315 can provide for your bar type, contact Fastway at fastwaytrailer.com/contact-us for guidance β or consider whether the Equal-i-zer system with its wider shank range (up to 9" drop on standard 12" shanks) may be a better fit.
