Genuine #20 density rubber shear spring for MORryde LRE, RS, and SRS dual axle trailer suspension systems. 2 blocks bonded together, no bolts. Works in concert with existing leaf springs for a smoother ride.
The MORryde PT108-020 is a genuine OEM-grade replacement rubber shear spring engineered for use in MORryde's LRE (Leaf Spring Rubber Equalizer), RS, and SRS dual axle trailer suspension systems. The rubber equalizer works in concert with your trailer's existing leaf springs to greatly enhance your suspension system's ability to handle today's rough roads — delivering a smoother, more comfortable tow and better protection of your trailer's frame and contents from damaging road shock.
The PT108-020 features two rubber blocks permanently bonded together on inner and outer steel plates, eliminating the need for separate bolts or assembly hardware. The #20 density designation is matched to specific GAWR ranges depending on your system — the LRE4000 Series at 6,501–7,500 lbs per axle, or the RS Series at 12,001–15,000 lbs per axle. Always check the number stamped directly on your original spring before ordering to confirm the correct density for your application.
Two rubber blocks are permanently bonded between inner and outer steel plates — no bolts, no separate assembly required
Works in concert with existing leaf springs to absorb road shock and reduce vibration transferred to your trailer
Compatible with MORryde LRE, RS, and SRS suspension systems — not limited to a single system type
#20 density rubber calibrated to specific GAWR ranges — verify by checking the number stamped on your original spring
Two critical checks before purchasing: 1. Verify the Spring Density Number: Check the number stamped directly on your original rubber spring. The stamped number must match the part number suffix to ensure proper load support. Example: A spring stamped "20" = PT108-020 (this part) 2. Note Your Axle Configuration: The PT108 series is designed for dual axle (tandem) trailer setups. Note whether your trailer has a tandem or triple axle configuration, as this affects fitment and spring placement. Contact MORryde at (574) 293-1581 if you are unsure which spring is correct for your setup.
MORryde offers two different rubber shear spring series with different form factors. Make sure you're ordering the correct one for your system: PT108 Series (This Part — PT108-020): • Inner plate 4.25" x 7.75" / Outer plates 4.25" x 6.75" • Hole spacing: 3" x 6.5" center to center • Used on LRE, RS, and SRS suspension systems • Designed for dual axle (tandem and triple axle) trailers DSR108 Series (Different Part — e.g. DSR108-075): • Plate: 5" x 10" / Holes: 3" x 9" center to center • Used on RL suspension systems • Different application — not interchangeable with PT108 If you are unsure which series your system uses, check your original spring's plate dimensions or contact MORryde directly.
Replacing Your Rubber Shear Spring: 1. Verify Spring Number: Confirm the number stamped on the original spring matches PT108-020 (#20) 2. Safely Support the Trailer: Use jack stands to support the axle and relieve tension from the suspension equalizer 3. Remove the Old Spring: Unbolt the mounting hardware securing the worn rubber spring to the equalizer bracket 4. Install PT108-020: Position the new spring assembly into the equalizer, aligning inner and outer plate holes (3" x 6.5" spacing) 5. Secure All Hardware: Torque mounting fasteners to MORryde specifications per system documentation 6. Lower and Test: Check suspension operation and ride height before returning trailer to service Professional installation recommended. Refer to your LRE, RS, or SRS system documentation for full torque specifications.

All PT108 springs share the same plate dimensions and bonded double-block design. The only difference is rubber density — matched to your system and GAWR. Always confirm by reading the number stamped on your existing spring.
Important: GAWR ranges shown are guidelines based on system type. Always verify by reading the number stamped on your existing spring. Contact MORryde at (574) 293-1581 if you are unsure which density is correct for your trailer.
