This is the vent RVers install over bathrooms, galley kitchens, and storage areas where a powered fan isn't needed (or isn't recommended). Above a shower? This is your vent – powered fans shouldn't be used in high-humidity areas because moisture will damage the motor and circuit board over time. The Mini Vent has no electronics to corrode. Just slide the manual baffle lever to open the 10.5" ventilation opening, and passive airflow does the rest. Stale air, steam, and odors escape naturally while the rain shield keeps water out.
The low-profile design sits just 4" above the roofline – significantly lower than traditional raised vent covers. That means less wind resistance while driving, less chance of tree branch damage, and easier clearance for low-overhead storage or garages. Despite the slim profile, the integrated rain shield provides full 360° protection around the vent opening.
The MaxxAir Mini Vent 00-03750 is a manual, non-powered vent only – it does not include a fan or motor. Ventilation is passive (natural airflow). Powered vent fans are not recommended for installation directly above showers, tubs, or cooking surfaces. The high humidity will damage the motor and electronics over time. The non-powered Mini Vent is the right choice for these locations – no electrical components means no moisture damage, and the integrated rain shield keeps water out even during heavy rain. Steam and odors escape naturally through passive ventilation.

The Mini Vent drops into any standard 14" × 14" roof opening (technically 14-1/4" × 14-1/4"). It includes the exterior vent assembly with rain shield, the interior ceiling garnish panel, the sleeve, and all mounting hardware. The only additional item you'll need is roof sealant (we recommend Dicor 501LSW Self-Leveling Lap Sealant for a watertight seal). The interior garnish can be trimmed with a hand saw if needed for thinner ceilings.
