12-inch round lube plate for 5th wheel hitches. Sits between the hitch plate and trailer kingpin plate to reduce friction, wear, and towing noise without grease. High-density wear-resistant plastic. No tools or drilling required. Replaces grease-coated metal-on-metal contact. Single plate.
The Camco 44675 is a 5th wheel hitch lube plate — a 12-inch round disc of high-density, wear-resistant plastic that sits between the hitch's upper coupler plate and the trailer's kingpin plate to eliminate the metal-on-metal contact that causes friction, wear, kingpin noise, and vibration during towing. Traditionally, 5th wheel owners manage this interface by greasing the hitch plate before each trip — a messy process that also attracts road grime and needs to be repeated regularly. The lube plate replaces that routine entirely.
The high-density plastic material provides a self-lubricating bearing surface that reduces friction without grease, cushions vibrations for a quieter tow, and protects both the hitch plate and kingpin plate from accelerated wear. Installation requires no tools and no drilling — the plate simply rests on the hitch during hookup. The 44675 is the standard black plastic version; the 44678 is the premium version with a red PTFE-infused surface for even lower friction.
Installation takes seconds — no tools or hardware needed: 1. Clean existing grease from the 5th wheel hitch plate surface 2. Place the lube plate centered on the hitch plate 3. Proceed with hookup as normal — the kingpin plate will seat on top of the lube plate Note: If switching from a greased hitch to a lube plate, thoroughly clean all grease from the hitch plate first — grease residue under the lube plate can cause it to shift or not seat flat.
• 1x Camco 44675 12" 5th Wheel Lube Plate
Standard plastic (black) — this series: • 44664 — 10" standard plastic • 44675 — 12" standard plastic (this item) Premium PTFE-infused (red) — lower friction: • 44668 — 10" premium red w/PTFE • 44678 — 12" premium red w/PTFE Choose 10" or 12" based on your hitch plate diameter. Choose PTFE version for the lowest possible friction and longest service life.
Lube plates are sized to the hitch plate — the plate must cover the full bearing surface of the hitch to be effective. Measure your hitch plate's bearing surface diameter and confirm it is 12" before ordering the 44675. If your hitch uses a 10" plate, order the 44664 (standard) or 44668 (PTFE) instead.
