The Cummins Onan A030Y328 is the OEM-specified air filter for the HGJBB RV QG 2500 and QG 2800 LP (propane) generator series, Spec A–B. Like all Green Label air filters, it is designed with a special foam pre-cleaner that provides an additional stage of filtration ahead of the main filter element, capturing larger airborne particles before they reach the paper media.
Non-Green Label substitutes may use lighter-density filter paper and sealing surfaces that become brittle and crack over time — allowing unfiltered air directly into the engine intake. Even a small amount of ingested dirt is enough to accelerate piston ring and cylinder wear. Replace every 250 hours per the Cummins Onan maintenance schedule.
