The result is a steady, consistent 11-inch water column (WC) supply pressure to every propane appliance on board -- from your furnace and water heater to your range and refrigerator -- without the pressure swings that single-stage regulators can produce.
Single-stage regulators handle the full pressure drop from tank pressure (often 100+ PSI) to appliance pressure in one step, which can cause output pressure to fluctuate as tank level and temperature change. The Camco 59313 splits that job into two stages inside a single housing. The first stage reduces high tank pressure to an intermediate level; the second stage trims that down to a stable 11" WC (approximately 0.4 PSI) delivery pressure. That two-step process keeps your appliances running at the pressure they were designed for, whether your tank is full or running low.
The vertical orientation suits the most common RV regulator mounting position -- directly on or near the propane compartment -- and the compact body keeps things tidy alongside the supply pigtail and shutoff valve. The 1/4" FNPT inlet threads directly onto standard POL-to-1/4" FNPT pigtail adapters, while the 3/8" FNPT outlet connects to standard RV LP distribution tubing.
