Both fittings are pre-installed at the factory. No cutting, flaring, or fitting assembly required. Thread the MPT end into your gas supply port, snap the quick-disconnect end onto your appliance fitting, and you are done.
The 1/4" MPT (male pipe thread) end is compatible with standard female 1/4" NPT ports found on most RV gas manifolds, shut-off valves, and appliance inlets. NPT and MPT are the same thread standard -- 18 threads per inch at 1/4" diameter. No reducers or adapters should be needed for typical factory-spec installations.
The 1/4" quick-disconnect male end mates with standard JR Products and OEM-compatible 1/4" QD female receptacles. Confirm your appliance or QD block uses the 1/4" QD standard before ordering if you are unsure of your existing fitting size.
