Keep your RV propane system running without constant tank swaps. The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Auxiliary Fill Hose (Part No. 06-1412) connects an external auxiliary propane cylinder directly into your Sturgi-Stay Quick Disconnect port, giving you 10 feet of reach and a full 350 PSI pressure rating for safe, extended-stay LP supply.
When you are parked for days or weeks at a time, constantly swapping the built-in propane tanks is inconvenient and can interrupt heating, cooking, and refrigeration. The Sturgi-Stay Auxiliary Fill Hose is purpose-built to solve that problem. One end threads onto a standard POL propane cylinder valve; the other plugs directly into a Sturgi-Stay Model 250 Male Quick Disconnect, integrating a larger auxiliary cylinder into your existing RV LP plumbing without tools or permanent modifications.
At 120 inches (10 feet) of usable hose length, this assembly gives you enough slack to position a standard 20- or 30-lb cylinder outside your rig at a safe distance, whether on the ground, in a storage bay, or on a tongue-mounted carrier. The thermoplastic construction is kink-resistant and rated for extreme temperatures, so it holds up from winter camping at -40F down to summer desert heat at 140F.
Left-hand thread POL fitting seals directly onto standard propane cylinder valves -- no adapter needed for most 20- to 100-lb cylinders.
Male quick disconnect plug mates with Sturgi-Stay QD receptacles, allowing fast connect and disconnect without shutting off the entire LP system.
Rated well above normal residential LP operating pressure, providing a meaningful safety margin for typical RV applications.
Rated -40F to 140F (-40C to 60C), suitable for four-season camping and high-desert summer use without hose degradation.
This hose is designed exclusively for use with the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Quick Disconnect system. The Model 250 Male Quick Disconnect Plug on this hose must mate with a compatible Sturgi-Stay female QD receptacle already installed on your RV LP system. If your rig does not currently have a Sturgi-Stay QD receptacle, you will need to install one before this hose can be used.
The hose body is 1/4" ID thermoplastic -- a construction choice that keeps the assembly lightweight (2.42 lbs complete) while delivering flexibility and chemical resistance appropriate for LP gas service. Thermoplastic LP hose does not crack or stiffen in cold weather the way older rubber-bodied hoses can, making it well suited for shoulder-season and winter camping.
