Camco Low-Pressure Propane Part 57629 Camco 57629 6-Foot Quick Disconnect Propane Hose

Run your quick-connect grill or low-pressure propane appliance from a standard 5 or 20 lb propane cylinder with confidence. This 6-foot hose gives you reach without clutter, and the built-in shut-off valve lets you cut flow at the hose without touching the tank.

The Right Hose for Camp Grills, Tabletop Burners, and RV Appliances

Not every quick-connect propane setup comes with an adequate hose. The Camco 57629 fills that gap with a purpose-built 6-foot low-pressure regulator hose designed for appliances rated at 14 inches water column (w.c.) -- the standard operating pressure for most portable camp grills, tabletop stoves, and other low-pressure LP gas appliances.

The 1/4-inch quick disconnect fitting snaps onto any compatible quick-connect grill valve without tools. Pair it with a standard 5 lb or 20 lb DOT propane cylinder and you're ready to cook. The integrated shut-off valve at the hose end adds an important safety layer, letting you isolate gas flow without reaching back to the tank.

6-Foot Reach

Provides comfortable working distance between the cylinder and the appliance -- useful at a campsite, tailgate, or outside an RV.

1/4-In Quick Connect

Standard 1/4-inch QD fitting mates with most quick-connect grill valves without adapters or wrenches.

Built-In Shut-Off Valve

Integrated valve lets you stop gas flow at the hose -- no need to close the tank valve every time you finish cooking.

Low-Pressure Rated

Rated for low-pressure gas service at 14 in. w.c. -- correct for camp grills, portable stoves, and similar LP appliances.

What Is a Quick Disconnect Propane Hose?

A quick disconnect (QD) propane hose uses a push-to-connect fitting that allows you to attach and detach an appliance quickly without thread connections or wrenches. The valve inside the fitting closes automatically when disconnected, stopping gas flow. This makes it practical for appliances you connect and disconnect frequently -- a camp grill, a portable heater, or an outdoor burner -- especially when the tank has a built-in quick-connect port or when used with a QD adapter on the regulator outlet.

Practical for Full-Timers and Weekend Campers: Keep this hose coiled in your outdoor kitchen or gear box. It connects your camp grill to a spare 20 lb cylinder in seconds, freeing your RV's onboard propane supply for heating and cooking appliances inside the rig.

Appliance Compatibility

This hose is rated for low-pressure gas appliances only -- those designed to operate at 14 inches water column (approximately 0.5 PSI). This covers the vast majority of portable camp grills and tabletop burners. It is not designed for high-pressure appliances or turkey fryer burners that require a high-pressure regulator and hose.

  • Portable camp grills with quick-connect valves
  • Tabletop LP stoves rated at 14 in. w.c.
  • Other low-pressure LP appliances with 1/4-in QD inlets
Pressure Check Before You Buy: Confirm your appliance is rated for low-pressure service (14 in. w.c. / approximately 0.5 PSI). High-pressure appliances require a separate high-pressure hose and regulator -- this hose is not rated for that service.

What Is and Is Not Included

  • Included: 6-foot low-pressure propane regulator hose with 1/4-in quick disconnect fitting and integrated shut-off valve
  • NOT included: Propane cylinder (5 lb or 20 lb)
  • NOT included: Grill, burner, or any appliance
  • NOT included: Regulator (this hose connects to an appliance that has its own regulator or connects downstream of an existing regulator)
Maintenance Tip: Inspect the hose and fittings before each use. Look for cracks, kinks, or deterioration in the hose jacket. Apply a soapy water solution to connections to check for leaks before lighting any appliance. Replace the hose if any damage or leak is detected.
