The SuperSprings SSF-173-40-2 SumoSprings are purpose-built front helper springs for Class A motorhomes on the Ford F53 chassis with a 24,000–26,000 lb. GVWR. The front end of a Class A motorhome is under constant stress — carrying the weight of the cab, engine, a heavy front cap, slide-outs, and the everyday load of the road — and worn or inadequate front springs lead to a nose-down sag, excessive front-end float, and reduced driver control that makes highway driving exhausting and potentially dangerous.
SumoSprings eliminate all of that without the complexity of an air spring system. Made from SuperSprings' proprietary closed microcellular urethane, they install directly in place of the factory front bump stops — activating earlier and providing progressive, proportional support that rises with the load. The 2-piece "Rebel" design connects top and bottom for unlimited suspension travel, allowing each spring to work independently so the motorhome remains level and controlled even on uneven terrain or through sharp turns.

Your GVWR is listed on the vehicle door jamb sticker.
