Single leg 12,000 lb hydraulic trailer jack with 24" stroke and weatherproof control. Made in America by Quadra Manufacturing.
Say goodbye to hand-cranking your trailer with the BigFoot SQI24-I standard hydraulic trailer jack. Engineered and manufactured in White Pigeon, Michigan by Quadra Manufacturing since 1988, this American-made jack delivers powerful 12,000 lb lifting capacity with effortless push-button hydraulic operation. Perfect for horse trailers, enclosed race trailers, cargo trailers, and construction equipment haulers, the SQI24-I transforms the tedious task of coupling and uncoupling into a simple 10-second operation.
Built with a rugged tube-in-tube design and featuring a large pivot foot pad for superior stability, this jack handles everything from muddy fairgrounds to gravel construction sites. The single pump, single cylinder system keeps things simple and reliable, while the weatherproof control box with remote hardwired operation protects your investment from the elements. With 24 inches of travel and 35 inches of retracted height, the SQI24-I provides the versatility needed for bumper-pull and gooseneck trailers while maintaining excellent ground clearance.
Remote hardwired weatherproof control box lets you operate the jack from a convenient location—no more cranking
Cylinders machined in Michigan with Midwest components. Family-owned Quadra Manufacturing quality since 1988
Heavy-duty construction handles horse trailers, race trailers, equipment haulers, and cargo trailers
Single pump, single cylinder design minimizes complexity and maintenance while maximizing dependability
This SQI24-I model does NOT include a manual override system. If your trailer battery dies or the pump fails, you will not be able to operate the jack until power is restored or the pump is replaced. Need a backup system? Consider the SQI24-IMO model instead, which includes a hex drive manual override that allows drill-powered operation during power failures. The IMO model provides peace of mind when camping off-grid or in remote locations. This model is ideal for: Trailers with reliable electrical systems, users with access to jumper cables or portable jump starters, and those who prioritize lower cost over backup redundancy.
Horse Trailers: Bumper pull horse trailers benefit from effortless hydraulic operation when loading and unloading at shows, competitions, and farms. Enclosed Race Trailers: Race car haulers and enclosed motorcycle trailers gain fast, convenient coupling without the physical effort of manual jacks. Cargo Trailers: Enclosed cargo trailers carrying equipment, tools, or inventory eliminate the hassle of hand-cranking heavy loads. Construction Equipment Trailers: Heavy equipment haulers, flatbeds, and utility trailers handling skid steers, excavators, or tractors get reliable 12,000 lb support.
Installation Steps (Professional Installation Recommended): 1. Purchase Hydraulic Fluid: Buy 3 quarts of ATF Dexron III transmission fluid (not included with jack). 2. Select Mounting Location: Position jack on trailer A-frame with adequate structural support. Verify 35" retracted height provides ground clearance. 3. Install Mounting Bracket: Attach universal bracket to trailer frame using supplied hardware. Ensure bracket is level and properly secured. 4. Mount Jack Assembly: Secure jack to mounting bracket and verify full range of motion. 5. Install Pump/Motor: Mount pump assembly to front of jack (standard) or remotely in protected location. 6. Route Hydraulic Lines: Connect hydraulic line from pump to cylinder using supplied fittings. Keep lines away from sharp edges and heat sources. 7. Install Control Box: Mount weatherproof control box in convenient, accessible location. Run wiring from control to pump. 8. Wire to Battery: Connect battery cable to 12V battery using supplied circuit breaker for overcurrent protection. 9. Fill with Fluid: Add approximately 3 quarts of ATF Dexron III to hydraulic system per manufacturer instructions. 10. Test Operation: Cycle jack through full range several times to purge air from hydraulic system.
Complete Kit Includes: • SQI24-I Hydraulic Jack Assembly • 12V Hydraulic Pump/Motor Unit • Weatherproof Remote Control Box • Universal Mounting Bracket • Complete Wiring Harness • Hydraulic Line with Fittings • Battery Cable with Circuit Breaker • Mounting Hardware (Bolts/Washers) • Installation Instructions • Warranty Documentation You Must Supply (Not Included): • 3 Quarts ATF Dexron III Transmission Fluid • Basic hand tools for installation • Jack stands or trailer support during installation
Both models share the same core construction, capacity, and American-made quality. The primary difference is the manual override feature on the IMO model. Choose the SQI24-I for cost savings when you have reliable electrical systems, or upgrade to the SQI24-IMO for peace of mind with backup operation capability.
