Apply exactly in the correct location the first time. Attempting to remove DiSeal may damage the tape and roofing beneath it. Do not stretch the tape during application. Do not butt joints — do not try to cover large areas by placing DiSeal end-to-end or side-by-side. Use a squeegee with heavy pressure, starting in the center and working outward to remove any bubbles and ensure complete contact. Edges must have no openings, tunnels, or fishmouths.
1. Clean the surface — must be dry and free of dust, dirt, oil, and grease 2. Plan placement first — apply in the correct location the first time. Removal may damage the tape and surface 3. Peel the backing and apply the tape to the surface — do not stretch 4. Press down firmly using a squeegee, starting in the center and working toward the edges to remove any air bubbles 5. Check all edges — no openings, tunnels, or fishmouths should remain 6. Full bond achieved in 24 hours — immediate water-tight seal upon application
