The Pro-Fill system is designed for low-pressure filling. Use a hand pump jug (included style varies by kit), gravity feed, or a regulated low-pressure supply. Do not connect directly to unregulated municipal water pressure. Flow-Rite recommends a maximum of approximately 30 PSI at the fill coupling. Most users fill with a dedicated hand pump or gravity bottle for best results and simplest setup.
This kit is specific to 2.7-inch center-to-center cell spacing. Measure the distance between the centers of adjacent vent cap openings on a single battery before ordering. Flow-Rite offers Pro-Fill kits in multiple cell spacings (commonly 1.5", 1.9", 2.7", and others). Installing tubing cut for the wrong spacing will result in kinked lines or tubing that does not reach between cells.
