The Specialty Recreation SL2230S is the smoke black companion to the SL2230W — a large format 22"×30" replacement skylight for Class A motorhomes and large fifth wheels where glare and UV reduction are a priority. At this size, the opening admits a substantial amount of overhead light; the smoke black tint brings it down to a comfortable level for living areas, bedrooms, and slideout spaces where direct overhead sun would be too intense.

The included 10 oz sealant tube may not cover the full perimeter of this large flange — have additional polycarbonate-compatible sealant on hand before starting.

The approved elastomeric sealant included with this skylight is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants (such as Dicor or similar) — these contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause cracking and failure of the dome.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation.
