The Curt 58390 fish wire is designed to simplify trailer hitch installations that require bolts and spacers to be positioned inside hollow vehicle frame rails. The coiled end threads onto a compatible 3/8-inch bolt, allowing the installer to guide the hardware through otherwise difficult-to-access mounting holes.
Constructed from flexible spring steel, the fish wire can be twisted and bent as needed to navigate through the frame. Its 18-inch length provides useful reach while remaining easy to control during installation.
