PQN Audio RV610-4W -- 6 Inch Dual Cone Waterproof Speakers, White, Pair
Full-range outdoor audio purpose-built for RVs, boats, spa cabinets, golf carts, and anywhere moisture and vibration are facts of life. IP65-rated construction, a shallow 2 inch mounting depth, and a 4-ohm load make these a straightforward drop-in for most head units and factory RV audio wiring.
The PQN Audio RV610-4W delivers clear, full-range sound in environments that would destroy a standard car speaker within a season. The dual cone design extends high-frequency response without a separate tweeter, keeping the install simple and the component count low -- an important advantage in tight RV cabinetry or a marine dash.
At 2 inches of mounting depth, these fit where coaxial speakers typically cannot. Slide-outs, exterior compartment doors, spa cabinets, and golf cart dashboards all become viable locations. The white finish matches common RV interior and exterior trim colors.
Sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets -- built for exterior mounts and marine environments.
Only 2 inches of required depth behind the baffle -- installs in thin walls, doors, and cabinets where full-depth speakers won't fit.
Single-driver design with an integrated secondary cone for extended highs -- no crossover required, no extra wiring.
Matches standard head unit outputs and most RV and marine amplifiers without impedance adapters.
A coaxial speaker mounts a separate tweeter on a stalk above the woofer cone, which adds depth behind the baffle and introduces a crossover network. In an RV wall or a boat dash where you may have only 2 to 2.5 inches of clearance, that extra depth is often the difference between a clean install and a frustrating modification job.
The dual cone design on the RV610-4W uses a smaller secondary cone bonded to the main cone to reproduce higher frequencies. There is no stalk, no crossover, and no extra depth required. The tradeoff is that stereo imaging is less precise than a well-matched component system, but for background music in an outdoor patio or RV living area, dual cone clarity is more than adequate.
IP65 means the speaker housing is fully dust-tight (6) and protected against water projected from a nozzle in any direction (5). In practice, this means:
