The JR Products 06-30175 is a heavy duty stainless steel mesh screen that mounts over an RV water heater vent to keep birds and rodents from nesting inside. An unprotected water heater vent is an easy target for nesting activity, and a blocked vent can interfere with proper combustion airflow and create a safety concern. The fine stainless steel mesh keeps pests out while still allowing full airflow through the vent, and an installation tool is included to make the install simple.
This screen is sized specifically for Atwood 6 and 10 gallon and Suburban 6 gallon water heater vents. If your RV uses a different water heater size or brand, JR Products offers separate screens sized for those applications — measure your vent opening and check your water heater's brand and capacity before ordering.
