BatteryMINDer24V / 4A5-Stage Smart ChargingBatteryMINDer 244CEC1 -- 24-Volt 4-Amp Battery Charger, Maintainer, Desulfator, and Conditioner

The BatteryMINDer 244CEC1 is a fully automatic 5-stage 24-volt smart charger built to extend the performance and service life of virtually any 24V battery bank. Whether you run AGM, Gel, or standard flooded batteries in your RV, commercial vehicle, or marine application, this unit charges, maintains, desulfates, and conditions -- all without overcharging, regardless of ambient temperature extremes.

Stop Killing Your 24V Batteries -- Charge and Maintain Them Right

Most battery degradation is caused by sulfation -- the slow buildup of lead sulfate crystals on battery plates that happens during storage or chronic undercharging. The BatteryMINDer 244CEC1 actively fights sulfation using high-frequency pulse conditioning throughout every charge cycle, recovering capacity in batteries that a standard charger would simply write off.

Its SmarTECHnology microprocessor monitors voltage, current, and ambient temperature in real time, automatically adjusting output across five discrete stages. The result: batteries charged to the exact profile their chemistry demands, stored safely, and maintained indefinitely without your attention.

5-Stage Automatic Charging

Initialization, bulk, absorption, conditioning, and float stages deliver a precise, complete charge tailored to your battery type every time.

Multi-Chemistry Support

Push-button selector switches between AGM, Gel, and flooded battery profiles to match manufacturer charge specifications exactly.

Active Desulfation

High-frequency pulse conditioning reverses sulfation during every charge, recovering lost capacity and extending overall battery service life.

Temperature-Compensated Charging

Included ambient temperature sensor adjusts charge voltage automatically -- prevents undercharging in cold and overcharging in heat.

Maintain Up to 6 Batteries at Once

The 244CEC1 can power up to six 24V batteries in parallel when used with BatteryMINDer Y-Connectors (model 210AY, sold separately). This makes it practical for fleet vehicles, multi-battery RV bank maintenance, or seasonal storage of multiple units from one charger.

Safe for Long-Term Storage

Once fully charged, the unit holds batteries in a safe float/maintenance state indefinitely. Batteries can be stored at temperatures from 0 deg F to 130 deg F without risk of overcharge, gassing, or thermal runaway. Splash-proof construction means it handles garage and outdoor storage environments.

Built-In Protections You Can Count On

The 244CEC1 includes automatic protection against:

  • Reverse polarity connection
  • Short circuit
  • Spark at connection
  • Thermal runaway
  • Overcharge at any temperature
What Is Included in the Box
  • 6-foot 120V AC power cord
  • 6-foot DC output cord
  • 2-foot battery clamp cables with quick-connect
  • 2-foot ring terminal assembly with quick-connect
  • Ambient temperature sensor
Maintenance Tip -- Desulfation Takes Time

If you are recovering a deeply sulfated battery, allow the unit to run through multiple full charge-condition cycles. BatteryMINDer's high-frequency pulse works progressively -- a battery left on the maintainer for several days will show better recovery than one disconnected after the initial charge completes.

Need to Maintain Multiple Batteries?

Add BatteryMINDer Y-Connectors (model 210AY, sold separately) to connect and simultaneously maintain up to 6 batteries from this single charger. All batteries must be the same voltage and chemistry when connected in parallel.

Important Information
  • This charger is designed for 24-VOLT battery systems only. Do not connect to 12V batteries -- use BatteryMINDer's 12V product line for 12-volt applications.
  • Always select the correct battery chemistry (AGM, Gel, or Flooded) using the push-button selector before connecting. Using the wrong profile can damage batteries.
  • Y-Connectors (model 210AY) required for multi-battery maintenance are sold separately and are not included with this unit.
  • When connecting multiple batteries in parallel, all batteries must be the same voltage and the same chemistry type.
  • Unit is splash-proof, not waterproof. Do not submerge or expose to standing water or rain during use.
  • Do not operate in an enclosed, unventilated space when charging flooded (wet cell) batteries -- hydrogen gas is produced during charging.
  • The ambient temperature sensor must be connected and positioned near the battery for proper temperature-compensated charging.
This has a weather tight enclosure when mounted correctly, to ensure this product works properly make sure to mount the unit in a vertical position with the cords coming out the bottom towards the ground. If this does not have proper mounting the unit may fail to work due to water intrusion inside the box.
