Suburban LP-R756HP Single-Stage RV Propane Regulator, Shut-Off Valve, 1/4" FPT x 1/4" FPT, 460K BTU

High-capacity single-stage low-pressure RV propane regulator with integrated shut-off valve. 460,000 BTU/hr, 11" WC outlet pressure, 1/4" FPT inlet and outlet. Horizontal mount. Adjustable outlet fitting (90° or 180°). RVIA approved. ISO 9001:2015.

About the Suburban LP-R756HP

The Suburban LP-R756HP is a single-stage low-pressure RV propane regulator with an integrated shut-off valve — designed for RV propane systems that require high-flow, reliable gas delivery to multiple appliances simultaneously. Where the LP-R524V two-stage regulator is the standard choice for most RV installations, the LP-R756HP single-stage design with its 460,000 BTU/hr capacity is suited for larger systems with higher total appliance BTU demand.

The regulator delivers a stable 11" WC outlet pressure and accepts inlet pressures from 25 to 250 psi — covering the full range from near-empty to full tank. A versatile adjustable outlet fitting can be positioned at either 90° or 180° (with a single barb at 90°) to accommodate different installation orientations. The integrated manual shut-off valve allows the gas supply to be closed at the regulator without returning to the tank. Horizontal mount. RVIA approved for permanent RV installation. Built by Suburban Manufacturing (a Dicor company) to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. Operating temperature range: -4°F to 122°F.

Key Features

Two-stage versions for most RV installations:
LP-R524V — Two-stage, vertical vent, 160K BTU, 1/4" FPT x 3/8" FPT
LP-R524H — Two-stage, horizontal vent, 160K BTU, 1/4" FPT x 3/8" FPT

📋 Single-Stage vs. Two-Stage — When to Use Each

Single-stage (LP-R756HP — this item): Reduces tank pressure to delivery pressure in one step. Better suited for systems where the tank pressure is relatively stable or where a high flow rate is needed. The 460,000 BTU/hr capacity is well above most RV appliance demands.

Two-stage (LP-R524V / LP-R524H): Reduces pressure in two steps — more consistent outlet pressure as tank empties or in cold weather when tank pressure drops. The two-stage design is the standard recommendation for most RV propane systems for this reason.

If you're replacing an existing regulator, match the number of stages and connection sizes to what's currently installed unless you have a reason to upgrade.

⚠️ Title Correction — 460K BTU, Not 35K BTU

The listing title states "35,000 BTU/H" — this is incorrect. The Suburban LP-R756HP is rated at 460,000 BTU/hr per the manufacturer's own specifications and every authoritative source. The 35,000 BTU figure does not correspond to this regulator.
