EternaCaulk Black Sealant

The Eternabond EternaCaulk Black is a multi-purpose sealant that is used primarily for filling holes on RV roofs to stop leaks. It is perfect for those areas, where people can see and appearance is crucial. This caulk can also be used along with eternabond tapes for sealing roof seams and tears, flashings, copings, skylights, gutters, and much more. The kinds of materials it adheres to are metal, Kynar coated metal, asphalt, shingles, modified bitumen, EPDM, TPO, Elvaloy/PVC, Hypalon, vinyl, fiber cement, wood, concrete, tile, masonry, and glass, it can also be applied to surfaces that are wet or dry.

How To Apply

The application of EternaCaulk is quick and easy, but before you start you must clean the surface and rid it of all debris. If you have a porous surface, it may be beneficial to to put down a coat of EternaPrime to create a smooth surface for the caulk to adhere to. Once the surface is ready, cut the top off the tube, puncture the seal, and apply. The maximum suggested joint width and depth is 3/8" and if the joint is too deep, use a foam backer rod to fill the extra space.
