How to Repair a Polyethylene RV Holding Tank

Tools required: AlumiBond


1. Here is an extreme crack in a polyethylene tank.
2. Drill a hole at each end to keep the crack from spreading.
3. Measure the amount of AlumiBond required. Go 2 inches beyond the end of the crack in each direction.
4. Remove approximately 3-4 inches of release liner to get started.
5. Apply AlumiBond to crack.
6. Once installed, rub into place using moderate pressure, and apply a second piece over the first.
7. Job Complete!
Allow to stand for 12 hours before refilling tank.
