FAULKNER 12,000 BTU 51322 Portable Propane Gas Grill – RV Mount or Freestanding – Black Steel
Fire up a real barbecue wherever you camp with the Faulkner 51322 Portable Propane Gas Grill. This versatile grill mounts to the side of your RV with the included bracket, or stands on its own folding legs for tailgates, picnics, and backyard cookouts. The 12,000 BTU burner delivers plenty of heat for burgers, steaks, chicken, and more on the generous 16.7" × 13.4" cooking surface – big enough to feed 4-5 people at once. Connect it to a 1-lb disposable propane cylinder, a 5-lb or 20-lb portable tank, or tap directly into your RV's propane supply. Piezo push-button ignition lights instantly without matches. Built-in thermometer, removable drip tray, and stainless steel grates make cooking and cleanup easy.

The Classic RV Grill – Now With Your Choice of Setup

The Faulkner 51322 is one of the most popular RV grills on the market – you'll see it mounted on travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes at campgrounds everywhere. It's also the OEM grill that comes factory-installed on many Jayco, Forest River, and other RV brands. If you're replacing a worn-out factory grill or adding a grill to your RV for the first time, this is the unit that fits most standard RV grill mounts and mounting brackets.

What makes the Faulkner 51322 so popular? It's simple, reliable, and does exactly what an RV grill needs to do: cook good food without the complexity and bulk of a full-size backyard grill. At 12,000 BTU, it has enough power to sear steaks and get a nice char on burgers, but it's not so overpowered that you'll burn through propane or overheat everything. The cooking surface is sized right for RV camping – big enough for a family dinner, small enough to store in a compartment or on a bumper mount.12,000 BTUCSA ApprovedUL Listed

Two Ways to Use It

The Faulkner 51322 comes with a versatile mounting bracket that works two ways:

  • RV Sidewall Mount: Attach the bracket to the side of your RV, travel trailer, or fifth wheel. The grill slides onto the bracket for cooking and removes easily for storage or transport. This keeps the grill at a comfortable working height and out of the way when not in use.
  • Freestanding Table Stand: The same bracket converts into a tabletop stand, allowing you to set the grill on a picnic table, tailgate, or any flat surface. When you want to take the grill away from the RV – to a beach, park, or friend's backyard – the stand gives you a stable platform.

The grill also has built-in folding legs that let you set it up on the ground as a standalone unit. This gives you maximum flexibility – mount it, stand it, or set it on the ground, whatever works for your campsite.

🔌 Three Fuel Options – Use What You Have

The Faulkner 51322 includes an LP adapter that lets you connect to multiple propane sources:

1. Disposable 1-lb Propane Cylinders – The green Coleman-style bottles you can buy at any hardware store, Walmart, or gas station. Great for short trips or when you don't want to deal with a larger tank. The included adapter screws right on.

2. Portable 5-lb or 20-lb Propane Tanks – The same tanks you'd use for a backyard grill. Connect with a standard propane hose (not included).

3. Your RV's Propane Supply – If your RV has a quick-connect propane outlet (many do), you can tap directly into your RV's onboard propane tanks for unlimited cooking without swapping cylinders.

Cooking Surface & Grates

The main cooking grate measures 16.7" × 13.4" – approximately 224 square inches of grilling space. That's enough room for about 8-10 burgers, 4-6 steaks, or a combination of meats and vegetables. The grate is made from stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning.

Above the main grate is a secondary warming rack measuring 11.8" × 5.9". Use it to toast buns, keep cooked food warm while you finish the rest, or move items away from direct heat.

🌡️ Built-In Thermometer

The lid-mounted thermometer lets you monitor cooking temperature without lifting the lid and losing heat. This is especially useful for longer cooks like chicken or thicker cuts of meat where you need to maintain consistent heat.

Easy Ignition, Easy Cleanup

Piezo push-button ignition means you just turn on the gas, press the button, and you're lit. No matches, no lighters, no fussing with a finicky igniter. The piezo element generates a spark every time.

Removable drip tray catches grease and drippings, keeping them away from the burner and making cleanup simple. Just slide out the tray after cooking, dispose of the grease, and wipe clean. The stainless steel grates can be scrubbed with a grill brush while still warm for easy maintenance.

Latching lid keeps the grill securely closed during transport. No worries about the lid flopping open when you're driving down the road or carrying the grill to a picnic spot. Cool-touch handles let you move the grill safely even when hot.

⚠️ Outdoor Use Only

Like all propane grills, the Faulkner 51322 is designed for outdoor use only. Never operate inside an RV, tent, garage, or other enclosed space. Carbon monoxide from propane combustion is dangerous in enclosed areas. Always grill in a well-ventilated outdoor location with the grill positioned away from awnings, screens, and other flammable materials.

Perfect Replacement for Factory RV Grills

If your RV came with a factory-installed grill that's now rusted, worn out, or no longer working, the Faulkner 51322 is likely the exact replacement you need. This is the OEM grill (or a direct equivalent) used by many RV manufacturers. The mounting dimensions match standard RV grill brackets, so it typically fits right in place of the old unit.

"Could not find a replacement grill for the barbeque that came with my Jayco camper. So I purchased entire new barbecue that is exactly the same as the OEM. As a bonus, a new table/RV bracket comes with the barbecue." – Amazon customer review

💡 Grilling Tips for RV Cooking

Preheat properly: Give the grill 5-10 minutes to heat up before cooking. This helps sear food and prevents sticking.

Don't overload: Leave space between items so heat can circulate. Overcrowding leads to steaming instead of grilling.

Keep the lid closed: For thicker cuts, closing the lid creates an oven-like environment for more even cooking. Open-lid grilling works better for thin items like burgers.

Clean while warm: Scrub the grates with a grill brush right after cooking while the residue is still soft. It's much harder to clean once it cools and hardens.

Cover when not in use: A grill cover (sold separately) protects the finish and extends the life of your grill when it's mounted on the RV between uses.

✅ Fits Standard RV Grill Mounts

The Faulkner 51322 is designed to fit standard RV grill mounting brackets, including factory-installed bumper mounts on many Jayco, Forest River, Keystone, and other RV brands. If you're replacing an existing RV grill, this one will likely fit your existing bracket. The included mounting bracket can also be installed as a new mount if you don't already have one.

🔥 What Can You Cook?

At 12,000 BTU with 224 sq in of cooking space, the Faulkner 51322 can handle:

• 8-10 hamburgers
• 4-6 steaks
• 6-8 chicken breasts
• Hot dogs, brats, sausages
• Kabobs and vegetables
• Fish fillets
• Corn on the cob

Use the warming rack to toast buns or keep finished items hot while you cook the rest.

⚠️ Before You Buy – Check Your Mount

If you're replacing an existing RV grill, measure your current mounting bracket or grill dimensions before ordering. While the Faulkner 51322 fits most standard RV grill mounts, some RVs may have proprietary brackets with different dimensions. The stainless steel 51323 version is reportedly slightly wider than the black 51322 in some production runs, so verify fitment if you're swapping into an existing mount.

🔗 Connecting to RV Propane

To connect the grill to your RV's propane system, you'll need a quick-connect propane hose (sold separately). Many RVs have a quick-connect outlet on the exterior specifically for grills and other LP appliances. If your RV doesn't have one, you can add a quick-connect fitting to your propane system.
