The MB Sturgis 06-1380 gives you a full 48 inches of rated, certified propane hose to connect your RV or portable propane supply to high-pressure gas appliances -- burners, fryers, generators, and more. With a 350 PSI pressure rating, UL/CGA certification, and US manufacture, this hose meets the performance and safety standards that matter on the road or at the campsite.
Most low-pressure RV propane lines are rated around 1/2 PSI -- not nearly enough for high-BTU appliances that require full tank pressure upstream of a dedicated regulator. The MB Sturgis 06-1380 is rated to 350 PSI, making it the correct choice when you need to run propane at high pressure from a tank or manifold to an external high-pressure regulator or appliance.
The 3/8" female flare swivel end threads onto standard POL-to-flare adapters, acme-to-flare adapters, and most RV tank valves or manifold ports. The 3/8" MPT (male pipe thread) end connects directly to high-pressure regulators, burner valves, and gas appliance inlets with a standard NPT female fitting. The swivel design on the flare end eliminates hose torque during connection, making routing easier in tight spaces.
Handles full upstream propane tank pressure safely -- correct for high-pressure appliance runs before a dedicated regulator.
3/8" female flare swivel end eliminates hose twist and makes connecting to tank valves and adapters much easier.
Rated -40 F to 140 F -- handles cold-weather camping and hot summer days without cracking, stiffening, or softening.
Meets Underwriters Laboratories and Canadian Gas Association standards -- required by many campgrounds and inspectors.
Getting the right fittings matters with propane. Here is exactly what each end of the 06-1380 does:
If your appliance has a 1/4" NPT inlet, a 3/8" to 1/4" NPT bushing is required (not included). If your tank valve is a POL type, you will need a separate POL-to-3/8" male flare adapter (not included).
