The Cummins Onan 0155-2845 is a complete exhaust tailpipe kit for the KY MicroQuiet (QG 3600/4000) generator series. It is designed for underfloor installations and those where the RV sidewall does not extend below the bottom of the generator â situations where the exhaust needs to be routed from the bottom of the generator tray and directed to the side of the RV.
The 90-degree tailpipe hangs approximately 1 inch below the generator mounting tray and runs 22 inches to the sidewall exit point. The kit includes the tailpipe, a muffler clamp to secure the pipe to the generator outlet, and a hanger to support the tailpipe end â everything required for a complete exhaust installation in one package.
For installations where the RV sidewall is lower than the generator tray and requires additional vertical drop before the horizontal run, Onan offers the 0155-2850 downtube extension as a companion part to add clearance before this kit's tailpipe section.

This tailpipe kit is the exhaust companion to the A030X652 Underfloor Mounting Kit. The mounting kit positions the generator under the RV floor â this tailpipe kit then completes the exhaust system by routing exhaust from the bottom of the tray to the RV sidewall. For installations where the RV sidewall is lower than the tray and additional drop is needed before the horizontal run, add the 0155-2850 straight downtube extension between the generator and this kit's tailpipe.
All exhaust installations must be gas-tight and comply with applicable RV standards, state, and federal codes. The tailpipe must terminate at least 1" beyond the RV perimeter â not underneath the vehicle â and maintain at least 6" clearance from any door, window, vent, or unsealed compartment opening. Always follow Instruction Sheet G206 (included) and the KY series installation manual.
