The MEGR-295 is a two-stage propane regulator designed for horizontal, underbody-mounted RV propane tanks, such as Manchester tanks. Two-stage regulation is required by national ANSI/RVIA code for RVs, and it works by having the second stage regulator receive a relatively uniform pressure from the first stage, which helps maintain appliance pressure at a nearly constant 11" W.C.
This design also greatly reduces the possibility of regulator freeze-ups compared to single-stage regulation. It's rated for up to 175,000 BTU/hr, suitable for high-demand RV appliance setups.

The MEGR-295 is manufactured by Marshall Excelsior Company under their Excela-Flo product line — "MEGR" is Marshall Excelsior's own part-numbering prefix. AP Products and other RV parts retailers distribute this regulator, but Marshall Excelsior is the manufacturer of record. This product should be tested before use by a trained and certified LP gas technician.
