The BAL 29015B is the sidewind version of BAL's 1,000 lb. A-frame tongue jack family — the lightweight end of BAL's tongue jack lineup, suited for pop-up campers, small travel trailers, and light utility trailers where tongue weight stays well within the 1,000 lb. limit. It shares the same 14" lift range and smaller 1-5/8" inner tube as the topwind 29020B, with the crank mounted on the side of the gear housing rather than the top.
The sidewind design gives the 29015B an accessible gear housing that makes field lubrication and servicing easier than on topwind designs — no disassembly needed to access the gears. Like all BAL A-frame jacks it features precision heat-treated copper-alloyed metal gears, high-performance bearings, a pre-lubricated internal screw, and E-coat corrosion protection that exceeds the ASTM 2,000-hour salt spray standard.

The 29015B is for A-frame tongues only and is rated to 1,000 lbs. — the lightest-duty model in BAL's A-frame tongue jack lineup. Verify your trailer's tongue weight does not exceed this limit. If your trailer's tongue weight exceeds 1,000 lbs., step up to the 2,000 lb. sidewind 29025B or the 5,000 lb. topwind 29033B instead.
Both models share the same 1,000 lb. capacity, lift range, tube dimensions, E-coat finish, and compatible accessories.
