Complete 24-volt battery watering system with 127-flex manifolds and Eagle Eye battery level monitoring for four 6V or two 12V batteries.
The Flow-Rite BG-U24V-7A-EA is a universal Pro-Fill deep-cycle battery watering system with integrated Eagle Eye battery level monitoring, specifically designed for golf cart applications. This versatile kit works with either four 6-volt or two 12-volt batteries in 24-volt configurations, using 127-flex manifolds that adapt to various battery brands and cell spacings. The system combines automatic watering valves with patented sensing technology that monitors electrolyte levels and alerts you when watering is needed—eliminating guesswork and preventing damage from low water levels.
The winged bayonet valves install without tools and feature 360-degree rotating 3-port swivel tees for easier installation around battery terminals. Built-in de-gas chambers allow hydrogen and oxygen gases to expel safely while flame arrestors prevent external sparks from entering cells. The Eagle Eye sensor uses patented technology that eliminates stray current and voltage for the most accurate electrolyte readings possible, displaying status via green (full) or red (low) LEDs. This complete system extends battery life through optimal water levels and provides early warning before batteries suffer damage from dehydration.
Patented sensor eliminates stray current—green/red LEDs show water levels, prevents damage from low electrolyte
127-flex manifolds work with four 6V or two 12V batteries—adapts to multiple battery brands
Rotating connections route around terminals for easier installation—winged valves need no tools
Allows hydrogen/oxygen expulsion while maintaining flame arrestor protection—reduces ignition risk
The Integrated Eagle Eye Sensor Provides Critical Early Warning: Low water levels are the #1 cause of premature battery failure. When battery plates are exposed to air, sulfation accelerates dramatically and can destroy a battery in days. The Eagle Eye sensor constantly monitors electrolyte levels and displays status via LED: • Solid Green LED: Water levels are optimal—batteries healthy • Blinking Red LED: Water levels low—add distilled water immediately Why Eagle Eye Matters: Most users forget to check batteries until damage has occurred. Eagle Eye provides visual confirmation that batteries are properly maintained, protecting your investment and eliminating the guesswork that causes 90% of battery failures.

System Installation Steps: 1. Remove Vent Caps: Take off all existing battery vent caps 2. Install Winged Valves: Push and quarter-turn valves into cells (no tools) 3. Attach Flex Manifolds: Connect 129-flex manifolds to valves, rotate swivel tees as needed 4. Route Tubing: Cut 7 ft tubing and route between batteries 5. Install Eagle Eye: Connect sensor valve to one cell, attach control module to battery strap, connect power wires to battery terminals (3/8" ring terminals) 6. Test Eagle Eye: Verify green LED illuminates when powered 7. Install Coupler & Test: Connect water supply, fill batteries, check all connections
Eagle Eye provides insurance against forgotten watering—the #1 cause of premature battery failure in golf carts.
Water Supply (Sold Separately): This kit does NOT include a water supply. You must purchase a Flow-Rite water supply such as: Hand Pump (portable, 24"), Regulated Hose Supply (connects to garden hose), Gravity Tank (overhead mounting), or Portable Watering Cart (fleet use). CRITICAL Water Quality Requirements: ALWAYS use distilled or deionized water. Minerals in tap water coat battery plates, fill microscopic pores, and drastically reduce contact area between plates and electrolyte. This causes permanent capacity loss and can shorten battery life by 40-50%. Approved Water: Distilled water, deionized water, RO water (if TDS under 10 ppm) DO NOT Use: Tap water, well water, bottled drinking water, softened water New Battery Break-In: For brand new batteries, complete at least 4 full charge/discharge cycles before adding any water. Initial electrolyte levels must stabilize during break-in period.
