The VersaHaul VH-50CC is a single-track carrier designed for transporting small 50cc scooters and lightweight motorcycles without the need for a trailer. This compact carrier features a 62" long x 4.5625" wide carrier track that accommodates scooters with tires under 4.27" wide and up to 250 lbs capacity. The included 60" x 4.27" loading ramp makes it easy to roll your scooter onto the carrier from ground level, eliminating the need for lifting or makeshift ramps.
The VH-50CC doubles as a versatile cargo carrier for gas cans, gear, or luggage when not transporting a scooter. The carrier comes standard with a Class III 2" x 2" stinger (main tube) and includes an optional Class II 1.25" x 1.25" stinger upgrade for vehicles with Class II hitches. Additional components include an anti-tilt lock bracket to eliminate wobble, adjustable wheel stop, snap pin, and two reflectors. Weighing just 56 lbs with powder coat finish, the VH-50CC is proudly made in the USA and protected by US Patent (US D528,064 S).
Tire Width Limitation: The 50cc ramp limits bikes to tires under 4.27" wide. Measure your scooter's tire width before purchasing. BEFORE PURCHASING - MEASURE YOUR SCOOTER: Tire Width Limitation - CRITICAL: The VH-50CC ramp is 4.27" wide and limits bikes to tires under 4.27" wide. If your scooter has tires 4.27" wide or wider, this carrier will NOT work. Measure your scooter's tire width before purchasing. How to Measure Tire Width: Check the tire sidewall for size markings (e.g., "120/70-12" where 120mm = 4.72" wide - TOO WIDE for this carrier). Or measure the tire's actual width with a ruler or tape measure at the widest point. Review complete VH-50CC instruction booklet Installation Overview: Select appropriate stinger (Class II 1.25" x 1.25" OR Class III 2" x 2") based on your vehicle's hitch receiver. Insert stinger into hitch receiver and secure with snap pin (included). Install anti-tilt lock bracket per instructions to eliminate wobble. Attach carrier track to stinger. Position wheel stop on carrier track. Attach reflectors for visibility. Loading Your Scooter: 1. Position 60" loading ramp against carrier track 2. Ensure ramp is stable and secure 3. Slowly roll or ride scooter up ramp onto carrier track 4. Center scooter tire on 4.5625" wide carrier track 5. Roll forward until front wheel reaches wheel stop 6. Secure scooter with tie-down straps to carrier and/or vehicle 7. Remove and store ramp in vehicle 8. Verify scooter stability - attempt to rock/shift (should be stable) Using as Cargo Carrier: When not transporting a scooter, the VH-50CC doubles as a cargo carrier. The 62" x 4.5625" track can hold gas cans, gear bags, luggage, or other items up to 250 lbs. Always secure cargo with tie-down straps or bungee cords. Do not exceed 250 lb capacity.
