Know exactly how far off-level your trailer or RV is before you start cranking jacks or stacking pads. Camco's compact bubble-type utility trailer levels give you a clear, at-a-glance read on side-to-side and front-to-rear tilt -- so you stop guessing and start leveling faster every time you park.
Getting your rig level is one of the first things you do at every campsite -- and it affects everything from refrigerator operation and slide-out alignment to your comfort while sleeping. These Camco bubble levels take the guesswork out of the process. Mount them once on your trailer tongue, frame rail, or A-frame, and they stay put for every trip.
Each level uses a classic liquid-filled bubble vial with graduated degree markings. The markings let you read not just whether you're level, but how far off you are -- critical for knowing whether to add one pad or three before you even unhitch.
Indicates both side-to-side and front-to-rear leveling so you can address all axes before unhitching or setting jacks.
Marked increments show the degree of tilt -- not just a pass/fail bubble -- making pad stacking and jack adjustment faster and more accurate.
Installs with included screws for a permanent, vibration-resistant mount, or with adhesive tape for a quick no-drill application on smooth surfaces.
Pack of two lets you place one at the front and one at the side of the trailer, or keep a spare in your tow vehicle for quick checks.
For screw mounting, choose a flat section of the trailer A-frame, tongue, or frame rail. Make sure the surface is clean and the level is oriented correctly -- arrow or indicator mark facing the direction specified on the unit. For adhesive mounting, clean the surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol first and allow the adhesive to cure before the next trip. Adhesive mounting works best on painted metal or fiberglass; avoid raw wood or textured coatings.
An out-of-level RV or trailer causes real problems beyond discomfort. Absorption-style refrigerators require near-level operation to protect the cooling unit -- running significantly off-level can permanently damage the ammonia cooling system. Slide-outs operate more smoothly and seal more reliably when the coach is level. Doors that swing open or closed on their own are a sure sign the rig is off-level. Getting it right the first time saves time and protects your investment.
