Stop removing caps, squinting at float levels, and dripping electrolyte on your hands. The Flow-Rite RV-2000 Pro-Fill system lets you water two 6V lead-acid batteries simultaneously from a single remote fill port -- no cap removal, no overfilling, no guesswork. Automatic control valves shut off at the correct level every time.
Most RV house battery banks use a pair of 6V deep-cycle batteries wired in series. Keeping those batteries properly watered is one of the most overlooked maintenance tasks -- and one of the easiest ways to shorten battery life. The Flow-Rite RV-2000 Pro-Fill system makes the job fast, clean, and foolproof.
Once installed, you connect a hand pump or pressurized water source to a single external fill port and water flows through the tubing network into each cell. The automatic control valve in each cell shuts off the moment water reaches the correct level -- preventing both over-watering and under-watering. No more guessing, no more mess.
Water all cells in both batteries from one external port -- no cap removal required during routine watering.
Float-controlled valves stop flow at the precise correct level in every cell, every fill cycle.
Two flexible manifold assemblies connect to the existing battery vent ports and accommodate standard 6V battery cell spacing.
Valves snap into existing cell vent holes. Installation requires no drilling, cutting, or special tools.
Underwatered lead-acid batteries sulfate faster and lose capacity permanently. Overwatered batteries overflow electrolyte during charging, corroding trays and terminals. Pro-Fill's automatic valves eliminate both failure modes, consistently delivering the correct water level to every cell on every fill. Properly maintained deep-cycle batteries can last significantly longer than neglected ones.
The RV-2000 is designed specifically for standard 6V lead-acid deep-cycle batteries -- the type commonly used in pairs to form a 12V RV house bank. This includes popular batteries such as Trojan T-105, T-125, T-145, Crown CR-235, US Battery US2200, and similar 6V GC-2 (golf cart) format cells. Each 6V battery typically has three cells; the RV-2000 kit covers two batteries (six cells total).
Not compatible with 12V batteries -- see the Flow-Rite RV-1000 series for 12V single-battery or multi-battery 12V configurations.
The RV-2000 kit includes the manifolds, automatic control valves, interconnecting tubing, and fill port hardware. A hand pump or pressurized filler bottle is required to push water through the system and is not included. Flow-Rite offers compatible hand pumps and pump kits separately. A standard Flow-Rite hand pump or the QF-200 quick-fill pump are commonly used with this system.
Installation
3) Attach fill line to an open barb.
4) Cover any remaining barbs with red end caps, and installation is complete.
