Additional Product Information
How to Use:
1. Vehicle tires should be chocked. Put the vehicle in gear and set the brake.
2. Four tie-downs are required. Place one at each corner of the vehicle.
3. Secure hooks to a suitable anchor point on the transporter frame with sufficient strength for extreme tie-down stress.
4. Pass webbing over the wheel. Hooks, webbing, and ratchet must be in line with load force.
5. Pull out the webbing slack. Pump the handle to snug the webbing tight. For a secure hold, the ratchet reel must have two layers of webbing wound around it.
6. Too many layers of webbing will jam the ratchet. If this happens, start the procedure again, removing more slack for the webbing.
7. Lock the handle down flat for transit. When all four tie-downs are secure, the vehicle should NOT move.
8. To release, compress the release bar and rotate the ratchet handle 180-degrees.
