Has the design changed to improve the weatherproofing? My previous Mr Beams Spotlight failed outdoors.

Mr Beams design for this product has not changed. It has always been a weather tight light. This product has very few weather issues. Mr Beams has found that the issues are created by the products either being defective or the pieces have not all been closed up together to make the weather tight seal.

I spoke with the owner of Beams and he said that if you would like a replacement for the current one your ordered that if you call them at 1-216-455-0192 and ask for Mia and she will help you with getting a replacement on this item.
