With the Atwood Digital Carbon Monoxide Gas Alarm you and your family can be protected from the dangers of carbon monoxide gases. This carbon monoxide detector is less sensitive to false gases than other brands, meaning no more false readings. Fuel Cell Technology gives the alarm's sensor a proton conducting membrane which generates a current in the presence of carbon monoxide or (CO). The technology used in this sensor is more accurate, uses less power current and is less sensitive to humidity. Every 15 seconds the CO monitor in the alarm updates and will give you a digital readout of your current CO Levels(Peak level button displays the highest concentration of gas detected). A very loud alarm will sound off if gas is detected, alerting you of any dangers that are present. A picture frame leg allows you to use the CO Alarm in multiple locations and is Ideal for locating the CO source or for additional security when sleeping in another room. For added safety the alarm cover is designed with a feature that makes it difficult to close the cover without batteries in the unit to help prevent the alarm from being mounted without power.
