Our panel can withstand hail storms and
other weather including extreme heat and
cold. (Most hard panels will melt the
crystal in extreme heat.) In fact if you
were to damage any section of the panel it
will only affect that panel in our mat.
Crystalline panels cannot be walked on thus
restricting your roof access and also will
crack and break in some extreme weather
including hail storms.

The Flex Power Mat is composed of 3rd
generation, triple junction amorphous
silicone, which means that our panel gathers
all three rays of light. This allows it to
draw power from the sun at lower angles and
for longer periods throughout the day.
The Flex Power Mat generates 68Watts,
4.1AMP’s and 16.5Volts but is capable of
producing more energy over the course of a
day than crystalline panels with higher
wattage due to flush mounting the
crystalline panel on the roof of your RV.
Crystalline panels can lose up to
approximately 40% of their energy production
capability by not having them angled to the
sun. As we know, most people leave have
their panels mounted flush on the roof and
do not angle or tilt them to the sun
throughout the day.

3) The Flex Power Mat Even Draws
Power In the Shade!
The Flex Power Mat has Bypass Diodes and
is Shadow Tolerant, which means that it has
more efficient energy production even on
overcast/dull days. Most crystalline panels
when shadowed even 25% will not be producing
power. Our panel produces power even when
shaded by trees. So feel free to park at
your favorite location and not have to worry
about your panel producing power.
