The EQ Systems 6964 is the OEM replacement circuit breaker assembly for the EL Pac electric jack add-on system. The circuit breaker is a critical protective component in the EL Pac electrical circuit — it monitors current draw from the jack motor and trips automatically if an overcurrent condition occurs, preventing damage to the motor, wiring, and related components from excessive current draw or a short circuit.
A tripped or failed circuit breaker will prevent the EL Pac jack motor from operating. If the EL Pac system is unresponsive and other components check out, inspecting and testing the circuit breaker assembly is a recommended diagnostic step. The 6964 is the correct OEM replacement for both EL Pac 1 and EL Pac 2 installations.
The EQ Systems EL Pac series adds powered electric jack operation to existing manual trailer jacks without replacing the full jack assembly. The EL Pac 1 is designed for Bulldog single and two speed jacks, as well as Fulton single speed and Ram single speed jack legs. The EL Pac 2 is designed for Binkley two speed jacks. The 6964 circuit breaker assembly is compatible with both EL Pac variants.
The 6964 is a dedicated EL Pac replacement part and is not intended for use with other EQ Systems hydraulic leveling systems. Contact EQ Systems technical support to confirm compatibility if you are unsure whether your installation uses an EL Pac system.
