The EQ Systems 1488T is a manual twist 2-way valve used on select EQ Systems 2-leg hydraulic leveling systems installed on RVs. In these systems, the valve acts as a selector that manually directs hydraulic flow between the two jack legs — one position for the left jack, the other for the right — allowing individual jack control from a single pump.
The manual twist design uses a knob that is rotated by hand to open or close the valve for each leg. If the valve body is leaking, seized, or no longer seating properly, the 1488T is the correct OEM replacement.
On 2-leg EQ Systems leveling systems, the manual twist valve serves as a flow selector between the two jack legs. Rotating the knob opens flow to the selected jack while blocking the other, allowing the single pump to extend or retract each leg individually. This design also doubles as a manual override — if the pump's electrical system fails, the valve can be operated by hand to control jack movement using the manual hand pump (where equipped).
