Helpful Parking DevicesDo you struggle when it comes to accurately parking your RV, trailer or camper? You can try, try and try again but sometimes you just can't park it exactly where you need it. If it seems like no matter what you do, your either too far to the left, too far to the right, or possibly worse you end up backing into something, then we have a few accessories, that will be described in this article to make this a simple task.
The first product i would like to discuss is the Camco AccuPark Parking device. This device is so simple to use, all you have to do is get your vehicle where you want it to be parked every time and use the peel n stick strips underneath to place it on the pavement where your back tire is located. Once it is in place every time you back up to park, it will be perfect, you can visibly see the yellow strip in your side mirror and when your tire hits the strip you can feel it.
The next product is perfect for someone that would rather hear an alarm go off instead of having to visibly see or feel where the the strip is placed on the pavement. The RV Stop Portable Parking Alarm is very easy to use and does not have to be adhered to the ground. Just place the sensor where you want to stop, begin backing up and once you hit the strip, the low alarm will sound letting you know that you're where you want to be. It also includes a flashing light for added convenience at night time.
Lastly, I will tell you about the Hopkins Wireless Back Up Sensor Kit. If you have to back up and park close to a garage or any other object this will come in handy. The sensor mounts to the rear bumper of your vehicle or on the trailer and it wires up to the display screen that can be mounted in-cab. While you are backing up the sensor will detect objects up to 6 feet, a low alarm will sound and get louder the closer you get. The display screen will also give you an exact distance between the bumper and the object, so you can get as close as you would like.
Any of these products will help you with your parking skills, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
