Clearsource Nomad RV Water Filter System
SETTING UP YOUR SYSTEM Should I use a pressure regulator with your system? Yes. Most RV manufacturers recommend you limit the water pressure with a pressure regulator to between 40 and 60 psi. Restricting the pressure makes maximizing water flow that much more important. The best way to do that is to buy a high-quality pressure regulator, set it at a safe setting, and make sure everything else in the system gives maximum flow. Should I flush my system before using it?Yes, and after every filter change. While setting up, just leave your outlet hose disconnected from your rig, turn on the water, and let it run for 60 seconds. That will flush the filters. Do the filters come with your systems?Yes! These systems come fully assembled, and ready to go out of the box. Just run water through the system for 45-60 seconds before using it for the first time, and every time you change the filters.
How do I hook it up? Attach a hose from the hose bib at your campsite to the inlet side of the filter (on the left as you face the system. The inlet fitting is female, and rotates.) Attach a second hose to the outlet fitting on the right side of the system and connect it to your RV's fresh water connection.
I'm worried someone might steal it. Can I lock it up? Yes. Any standard cable lock will work – just wrap it around the center post in the front of the system, or around the connecting pipe between the canisters. Attach the other end to something immovable, such as your RV wheel.
