OEM replacement anti-creep valve for select EQ Systems hydraulic slide-out systems. Prevents uncontrolled slide movement. Replace immediately if damaged.
The EQ Systems 2404 is the OEM replacement anti-creep valve for select EQ Systems hydraulic slide-out systems. The anti-creep valve is a hydraulic hold valve installed in the slide-out circuit to prevent the slide from slowly drifting inward or outward from its extended or retracted position when the system is not actively pumping.
A properly functioning anti-creep valve locks the slide in position under hydraulic pressure, maintaining its location whether the slide is fully extended for camping or fully retracted for travel. This valve is used on some — but not all — EQ Systems slide-out configurations.
A damaged or failed anti-creep valve is a serious safety hazard. Without a functioning anti-creep valve, a slide-out can extend uncontrollably — even while the vehicle is in motion — potentially causing property damage, injury, or collision. Do not operate the vehicle or slide-out system with a known damaged anti-creep valve. Replace immediately. Contact EQ Systems technical support before traveling if you suspect your anti-creep valve is compromised.
The 2404 is used on select EQ Systems hydraulic slide-out systems. Not all slide-out configurations include an anti-creep valve. Locate the model number tag on your pump motor or manifold and confirm your system uses this valve before ordering. Contact EQ Systems technical support if you are unsure whether your slide-out system requires this part.
The anti-creep valve holds the slide-out in position by maintaining hydraulic pressure in the slide circuit when the pump is not running. Without it, small pressure losses over time can allow the slide to slowly drift — or, if the valve fails completely, extend suddenly without warning. Signs of a failing anti-creep valve: • Slide-out slowly drifts from extended or retracted position • Slide moves unexpectedly without a switch command • Slide will not hold fully retracted position for travel
